It’s a story about the plight of a vampire. It’s not enough that Cloud is half-human, half-vampire (I don’t know how that’s possible, it’s fantastic), but he’s also an asshole vampire! He’s a half-human, half-vampire (something fantastical, really), but he’s also an asshole vampire, and he’s obviously a black sheep among vampire assholes, so he’s exiled, but he’s got to work because somebody decided he should be in charge of the food. Cloud and his assistant, already a seasoned professional, are raising the young girl to be a world-class pro, training her daily, watching her diet and sparring. The girl definitely has talent and is quickly gaining success.
